Fighter pilots on both sides of the Korean War found that the principles of a maneuvering dogfight applied to the higher speeds of jets. 1st Lt. Russell J. Brown downed a MiG-15 with his F-8OC over Sinuiju, Korea, in the first jet-vs.-jet combat in history.
